    The article under consideration is headlined Helena Carroll, 84, Actress of Stage and Screen, Dies.It is published on the website of the newspaper "The New York Times" on April 10,2013.The author of of the article is Margalit Fox.In the current article the author told about the famous Irish actress,Helena Carroll,who died on March 31 in Marina del Rey, Calif. She was 84.
     Helena Carroll is known for her stage, film and television appearances in the United States.Ms. Carroll, who moved to the United States in the 1950s, appeared regularly onstage in New York, Dublin and London, often starring in work by her father, the noted playwright Paul Vincent Carroll.
    The author underlined that  on Broadway Carroll   was seen in the original production of the musical "Oliver",in "Borstal Boy"adapted from Brendan Behan’s autobiographical book;in "Private Lives"starring Richard Burton and Elizabeth Taylor, in which she played the maid.
    The article reports that Ms. Carroll founded the Irish Players, a New York repertory company dedicated to presenting the work of Irish playwrights.The company  flourished from the mid-1950s to the mid-’60s. They staged plays by such writers as John Millington Synge, Donagh MacDonagh and Ms. Carroll’s father,about the political and religious conflicts roiling 20th-century Ireland.
      Helena Carroll also appeared in films : “The Friends of Eddie Coyle”,"The Dead", "The Mambo Kings".On television she had guest roles on a string of shows, including "Ironside", "Kojak", "Murder, She Wrote" and "Touched by an Angel" .
     Ms. Carroll  lived in the Woodland Hills section of Los Angeles,she died because of heart failure.
      Unfortunately I don't watch the movies or TV-shows with   Ms. Carroll's participation.No doubt, she was very talented actress and director  of  New York repertory company.She was proud of her  native land and tried to show the best masterpieces of Irish playwrights to the whole world.

    The current article IS DEVOTED TO the famous Irish actress,Helena Carroll,who died AT THE AGED OF 84 on March 31 in Marina del Rey, Calif.
    Unfortunately I HAVEN'T SEEN the movies or TV-shows with Ms. Carroll's participation.
    No doubt, she was A very talented actress and A VERY GOOD director of THE IRISH PLAYERS, A New York repertory company.
